Cardstock is a native desktop app (built with HTML/CSS/JS on Electron) that allows you to download and use stock photos without leaving your design program.
I'm a UI/UX designer from Raleigh, NC who lives in Washington, DC. I'm an alumnus of James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia (Class of 2016). While at JMU I studied Media Arts & Design with a minor in Computer Science. Early on I took an interest in how the web worked. When I was in middle school I started testing the waters in just about every form of multimedia I could get involved in from audio production, to film, and of course software and the web.
Growing up I enjoyed drawing, painting, sketching, and taking pictures. So when I got my first computer, I taught myself every trick in the book when it came to MS Paint. This is where it all began for me. I got curious as to what actually made this and other programs work. I became fascinated with the web because it seemed like anyone could create something on it. I taught myself HTML & CSS and the rest is history. I still loved designing things the most, but the fact that I could build the things I designed made each project that more interesting for me.
Take a look at some of the projects I've done recently, if you haven't already. There is still a good amount of work to do on several of them, so if you are interested in beta testing any of them let me know! Just fill out the contact form below.
